Recipe for 4# Sirloin Tip Roast Cooked in Power Pressure Cooker XL – Recipe Below

This was my first time preparing a Sirloin Tip Roast in my Power Pressure Cooker XL. I assumed it would take at least 60 mins for the 4 extra pound roast but I believe 35-45 minutes would certainly have functioned simply great. Recipe is below.

Ingredients
4 pound Sirloin Suggestion Roast
2 medium onions diced
4-5 stalks celery diced
1 1/2 pounds infant carrots
1 could poultry broth
1 can beef broth
garlic to your taste
1-2 tablespoon oil (I made use of canola).
1/2 Tbsp Kosher Salt plus enough to massage all over the roast.
1/2 Tablespoon Coarse Ground Black Pepper.

Directions.
1. Massage the roast all over with Kosher Salt and then put your PC (Pressure Cooker) on its sear mode and sear the roast on all sides.
2. While it is hot dice your onions, celery and obtain your carrots all set.
3. Add all of your other components and afterwards set your PC for 30-45 minutes depending upon how you want your roast cooked.
4. Once it has prepared do a 5 min natural release (NR), after that do a fast release (QR) and obtain your thermostat and examine the temp of the roast.
5. Take it out of the PC and also put it in a serving bowl and wrap with light weight aluminum foil for a minimum of 15-20 mins.

Temps for Roast.
120-125 rare.
125-130 med. uncommon.
135-145 medium.
150-160 medium well.

1 can chicken broth
1 can beef broth
garlic to your taste
1-2 tbsp oil (I used canola)
1/2 Tbsp Kosher Salt plus enough to rub all over the roast
1/2 Tbsp Coarse Ground Black Pepper

Directions
1. Rub the roast all over with Kosher Salt and then put your PC (Pressure Cooker) on its sear mode and sear the roast on all sides.
2. While it is searing dice your onions, celery and get your carrots ready.
3. Add all of your other ingredients and then set your PC for 30-45 minutes depending on how you want your roast cooked.
4. Once it has cooked do a 5 minute natural release (NR), then do a quick release (QR) and get your thermometer and check the temp of the roast.
5. Take it out of the PC and put it in a serving bowl and wrap with aluminum foil for at least 15-20 minutes.

Temps for Roast
120-125 rare
125-130 med. rare
135-145 medium
150-160 medium well
